Aside from winning office scooter races, Jason (JT) fills the role of an interaction designer with mad illustration skills. JT is our go-to guy for icon design, and he loves branding. His eye for aesthetics is backed by a passion for creating products that simplify a customer’s workflow and empowers the user to be more efficient.
JT is known for his ability to help clients articulate a product vision. He is commissioned for a variety of visionary deliverables, including concept drawings, information graphics and software wireframes. He finds the process of problem-solving with coworkers and clients to be the most rewarding aspect of his field.
JT has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in graphic design from the University of Northern Iowa. Though his heart resides at the intersection of illustration and design, he thoroughly enjoys the challenge of user experience design. He’s excited to watch usability and design become a core principle of product and business strategy.
When Jason isn’t working on design problems, he’s playing basketball, riding his motorcycle or jumping out of airplanes. You can keep up with his adventures by viewing his elaborate Snapchat stories.
Watch out: He’s a black belt in Taekwondo.
Can still nail a backflip from his days as a cheerleader at the University of Northern Iowa.
Has a plethora of nicknames. His office moniker? Saucy Burbank.
